La Municipalidad de Gaiman anunció la activación de su nuevo Centro de Monitoreo, una herramienta esencial para reforzar la seguridad y la prevención en la ciudad. Este sistema integra cámaras de alta resolución junto con la implementación de «Ojos en Alerta», una aplicación que agiliza la comunicación directa entre los residentes y las autoridades a través de WhatsApp.

El intendente Darío James se reunió con la subsecretaria de Seguridad para coordinar el funcionamiento del centro y programar la capacitación del personal encargado de operar las cámaras de vigilancia.

Además, se delinearon estrategias de divulgación para asegurar que la comunidad conozca y utilice este sistema de prevención de manera efectiva.

La Municipalidad también asignará 17 millones de pesos, provenientes de multas por alcoholemia y el secuestro de vehículos, a la adquisición de cámaras de mayor resolución, optimizando así la cobertura y eficiencia del monitoreo.

Con esta iniciativa, la Municipalidad de Gaiman ratifica su dedicación a la seguridad y el bienestar de los ciudadanos, adoptando tecnología avanzada y fomentando la participación ciudadana en la prevención del delito.

El nuevo Centro de Monitoreo estará conectado directamente con la comisaría local y garantizará la intervención inmediata en situaciones graves.
